Terms of service

These terms apply to all quotes, bookings and painting and decorating work carried out by Two Brothers Decorators Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accepting a quote or engaging our services you agree to these terms.

Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quote is based on the scope of work discussed and the condition of the surfaces as inspected.

If additional work is required once the job begins, for example repairs to surfaces that were not visible at the time of quoting, we will discuss this with you and agree any change in price before proceeding.

Dates are confirmed in good faith. Weather, access and unforeseen site conditions can affect exterior and industrial work in particular, and we will keep you informed of any changes as early as we can.

Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. For larger projects we may request a deposit or progress payments. Invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice.

We take pride in our work and use quality materials appropriate to each job. Where a manufacturer's product warranty applies to paints or coatings, we will pass on the relevant details.

If you are not satisfied with any part of the finished work, please tell us within a reasonable time so we can inspect it and put right any defect in our workmanship.

Please provide safe and reasonable access to the areas to be worked on, and let us know of any hazards, services or fragile items we should be aware of. Where practical, please move or protect valuables before we arrive.

We hold public liability insurance and take care on every site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
